Rabbit in The Moon is the most original electronic group in the world. Somewhere between performance art and dancefloor trance, Rabbit in the Moon was formed in Orlando, Florida by frontman Bunny with producers Monk (Steve McClure) and Confucius (David Christophere). Similar in style to Keith Flint's status as nominal frontman for Prodigy, Bunny provides most of the visual entertainment during the act's frenetic live show -- his costumes more in keeping with a horror film than a rave -- while McClure and Christophere take care of all the programming. The trio recorded several singles for Hallucination before debuting on Hardkiss Records with the 1994 single "Phases of an Out of Body Experience." Rabbit in the Moon provided remixes for an assortment of artists, including Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Goldie, Orbital, Sarah McLachlan, White Zombie, Cosmic Baby and Garbage. They have just released DECADE and will be joining us here in PORTLAND, OREGON during the tour of this long awaited album release! RABBIT HAS BEEN CALLED "THE GRATEFUL DEAD" & "PINK FLOYD" OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC, WHILE THEIR FANS ARE REFERRED TO AS "RABBITHEADS". WHEREVER RABBIT PERFORMS, NEW BELIEVERS ARE BORN. FOR MANY, THE SHOW IS A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE, WHERE LIVES ARE CHANGED. ALL OF THESE THINGS SPAWN FROM A BAND THAT HAS NEVER HAD TO GRACE THE SCREENS OF MUSIC TELEVISION FOR AN AUDIENCE. ALTERNATELY, R.I.T.M. HAS BEEN ON A GRASS ROOTS JOURNEY, MAKING BELIEVERS OUT OF CROWDS,ONE SHOW AT A TIME. FROM L.A. TO MANHATTAN ALL OF THE FANS WITH RABBIT IN THE MOON TATTOOS TAKE NOTICE, AND ADMIRE THEM FOR THAT. THE FANS TELL THE STORY. THIS ISN'T A NOW THING, IT'S A FOREVER THING... THE MOST AMAZING PART OF RABBIT'S STORY IS THAT THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED ALL OF THESE THINGS ON THEIR OWN. THEY'VE NEVER BEEN SIGNED TO A MAJOR LABEL. THERE HAS BEEN A MASSIVE MEDIA PUSH NOR HAS THERE BEEN MILLIONS SPENT TO CONVINCE THE MASSES THAT THEY ARE SOMETHING SPECIAL, THEY JUST ARE.
